Community Connections

Oakwood is pleased to work collaboratively with two community partners to support to students and families.

Kerr Street Mission

Kerr Street Mission is a non-profit organization that provides programs and services for our community in an effort to provide help for the present and hope for the future.  We do this through several programs and partnerships available to all community members and include youth programs, community meals, food relief, etc.  For more information, to access help or to donate, please visit us at 485 Kerr Street or www.kerrstreet.com.

Oakville Parent and Child Centre

Oakville Parent-Child Centre (OPCC) is a family resource centre with a long history of supporting families in Oakville.  OPCC is the provider for our licensed after school care program, as well as local EarlyON programs and the operator of the new EarlyON Child and Family Centre at Oakwood Public School.  OPCC offers a wide variety of programs for children 6 and under and their families including a licensed nursery school program.  Family support and education is provided by a full time Family Support Coordinator through parenting workshops, telephone and in person conversations.  Check out all that OPCC has to offer at www.op-cc.ca or drop in and see them. You are always welcome.
